Certified Optometric Technician
Lauren has attained national recognition via certification by demonstrating the ability to understand, apply, and interrelate the concepts used in optometric care. She’s been a fixture in our practice for many years, and we are thrilled to have her on the front lines. Many of you know Lauren as she is the first person to greet you when your exam starts. She performs our computerized pre-exam testing. This information is reviewed by Dr. Bryant so his exam is more thorough, detects more pathology, and makes your final prescription even more accurate. Lauren is also our contact lens manager, and you can call her with contact lens related questions. On the weekends, you’ll find Lauren relaxing with her husband Chris and son Seth, and they love to go to the Adirondacks. Lauren is our resident artist, and is teaching herself to play the ukulele.
Cindi helps to manage the workings of our optical department, and also serves as our frame stylist. Although she spends a lot of her time working with insurances, her true passion is in helping you to select the proper lens technology to optimize your vision and frames that feel great and fit your personality and style. She loves to see your reaction when you put on your new eyewear and experience clear vision and excitement about the way they make you look and feel. On the weekends, Cindi can be found cutting wood, cleaning house, and volunteering at the fire station. She is married to Bob (who happens to be the fire chief) and has two children, Kelcie and Kurtis.
